Version 33.01 (4-feb-96)
by Nicola Soggia
WHAT
Ever wondered where a mail came from or where a site is? TLD may help
you. TLD is a top-level domain database, top-level domain is the last
string of a Internet address and often contains a nation code. TLD is
just a simple stand alone string translator, not a online tool.
HOW
TLD is a shell program that accepts either full Internet address or a
top-level domain string as argument and prints to the standard output a
nation or organization name. When no command line argument is given, TLD
will try to get the full Internet address or the top-level domain string
from its standard input. When no nation or organization is found in the
database TLD will exit with no output and a warn (5) return code.
